How much does the Bosphorus dinner cruise cost?
€24.60 per adult, and that is the whole price of the evening: dinner, the show and unlimited soft drinks. Children aged 4–9 pay €19.60, children up to 3 come free, and from 10 the adult price applies. The only additions are optional — drinks, a hotel transfer, a romantic table. Prices, with worked totals
What exactly is included in the price?
Three hours on the water, ten cold mezes, a warm börek, one main course from four, the house semolina dessert, unlimited soft drinks — water, cola, juice and tea — the eight-act Turkish night show and the DJ afterwards. Alcohol and the hotel transfer are the two things that are not. What the price covers
How do I book?
Through the booking form on any page of this site, which takes a minute or two and sends your request to us on WhatsApp, or by writing to us on WhatsApp directly. Both work in 32 languages, and the reservation is confirmed in the same chat. Booking, step by step
Can I book for tonight?
Yes. Same-day reservations are taken until the 21:00 departure. If you want the hotel transfer as well, book it before 18:30 on the day. Same-day booking
Do I have to pay in advance?
No. There is no deposit and no online payment at all. You pay on board, in cash — euros, Turkish lira or US dollars — or by card. How payment works
What if my plans change?
Cancellation is free until two hours before departure, which is 19:00 on the day, and because nothing was paid in advance there is nothing to refund. To cancel or move a date, send a message in the same WhatsApp chat. Cancelling and changing
Where does the cruise leave from?
From Cibali Pier on the Golden Horn — Kadir Has Cd., Fatih, on the old-city shore beside Kadir Has University. Not from Eminönü, and not from Kabataş: those are where many other boats board, and where people most often go by mistake. Finding Cibali Pier
How do I get to Cibali Pier?
The T5 tram stops at Cibali, a short walk from the pier and two stops from Eminönü. From Sultanahmet, take the T1 tram to Eminönü and change to the T5. From Taksim, the M2 metro to Haliç station and a 10–12 minute walk along the shore. By taxi, ask for “Cibali, Kadir Has Üniversitesi”. Every route, in detail
Is there a hotel pickup?
Yes, as an extra: +€5 per person for the drive from your hotel to the pier and back again afterwards, free for children up to 3. It covers fourteen central districts, from Sultanahmet and Sirkeci to Taksim and Beşiktaş, and for the same evening it has to be booked before 18:30. The transfer, and the areas it covers
What time does it start, and when is it over?
Doors open at 20:00, the boat casts off at 21:00, and it is back alongside at Cibali Pier between 23:45 and midnight. Three hours on the water, about four from door to door. The evening, hour by hour
What route does the boat take?
Out of the Golden Horn under the Galata Bridge, up the European shore past Dolmabahçe, Çırağan, Ortaköy and Bebek to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, where it comes about, then home along the Asian shore past Beylerbeyi, Üsküdar and the Maiden’s Tower. The route, stop by stop
What is the show?
A live Turkish night programme in eight acts: belly dance, the whirling dervish, Turkish Romani dance, Caucasian dance with the knife show, Turkish folk dances, a rhythm show and live violin — and then a DJ on the dance floor until the pier. The running order changes from night to night. Each act, explained
Can we choose our table?
Yes, on arrival: tables are not assigned in advance, so the earlier you are aboard after 20:00, the more choice you have. For an anniversary or a proposal, the romantic table is dressed with candles and flowers for +€15. Arriving, and choosing a table
What should I wear?
Smart casual. Most guests dress up a little for the evening, and a light layer is worth bringing for the open decks, where it is breezy even in summer. What to wear, and what to bring
What is on the menu?
Ten cold Turkish mezes to share, a warm börek, then one main per guest from four — salmon, sea bass, chicken skewer or beef skewer — with a seasonal salad and garnish, and the house semolina dessert to finish. The menu, course by course
Is there a vegetarian option?
Yes: a vegetarian platter of falafel, roasted potatoes, bulgur pilaf, stewed vegetables and onion rings, made on request at no extra cost. Mention it when you book. Much of the cold meze spread is vegetarian in itself. Dietary requests
Is alcohol included?
No — soft drinks are, alcohol is optional. The drinks package is €15 per adult and unlimited all evening: beer, rakı, vodka, gin, red and white wine. Imported drinks such as whisky, tequila and champagne, and cocktails, are charged at the bar. The drinks package, in full
Can we bring children, and what do they pay?
Children of every age are welcome. Up to 3 they come free, from 4 to 9 they pay €19.60 — €5 less than an adult — and from 10 the adult price applies. The chicken skewer is the main most children end up choosing. The evening with children
Can a large group book together?
Yes. A group books under one name, with no deposit, through the same form or on WhatsApp, and pays on board like everyone else. The boat carries up to four hundred guests in two salons, so a group of twenty is an ordinary booking. Booking for a group
Can you arrange something for an anniversary, a birthday or a proposal?
Add the romantic table when you book — candles and flowers, +€15 — or tell us on WhatsApp what you have in mind and we will plan the moment with you. The romantic evening
Is there dancing?
After the last act the stage hands over to a professional DJ, and the dance floor in front of it stays open until the boat is back at the pier. The second half of the night
Does it sail in winter, and in the rain?
It sails every night of the year. Both salons are enclosed, heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, so rain only closes the open decks while dinner and the show carry on inside. If conditions ever make sailing unsafe, you are told before you leave your hotel, and nothing is charged. Winter, rain and wind
Is there a cruise on New Year’s Eve?
31 December is a separate gala evening, with its own programme, times and price, and it has a page of its own. Every other night of the year is the evening described here. New Year’s Eve on the Bosphorus
